Property Defects: Significant problems with the home's structure, roof, plumbing, or electrical systems. This also includes environmental hazards like asbestos, lead, mold, or defective drywall
HOA/Condo Rules: A summary of the association's mandatory membership, fees, and rules must be given to the buyer (Florida Statutes $720.401)
Code Enforcement: You must disclose any pending code enforcement violations against the property in writing (Florida Statutes $162.06)
Property Taxes: Your sales contract must state that the buyer's property taxes may not be the same as what you currently pay (Florida Stat. $689.261)
Coastal Properties: If your home is on the coast, you must disclose the potential for erosion and that the property is subject to specific building and environmental regulations (Florida Statutes $161.57)
